Got a green light late to try for a few Bounty fish one last time. We found bait very close to the ramp and off to the first spot we go. After weaving through the jet ski's and ski boats, we anchored up and it was on. We caught them fast and furious for a few hours. Just about every cast. We then left and spent several hours trying to find a bass over 8 pounds. It was tough because we knew that we could be catching bass one after another but the they were only averaging 3-4 pounds. About 7:45, we gave up and decided to catch more bass.....we ended the trip with 55 bass up to 6.75 pounds.
Bounty fishing is over for a while so our next goal is to see how many bass we can actually catch in one day. That should be fun.
